Dear Malad Stake Self-Reliance Committee,
Under the direction of Elder Hess, we are inviting leaders of your Wards/Stakes to attend a leadership training focusing on the Family Services Leader consultation resource. The training will be held over zoom. Please invite the appropriate leaders of the Stake/Ward to attend.
Presenters:
Christine Jolley – Manager Family Services in Brigham City
Topics Covered:
Family Services Leader Consultation:
Leader consultation is a free service for ward and stake council members needing to speak with a Family Services consultant. This resource can help Church leaders better understand the social and emotional needs and challenges of their members. Family Services consultants can also help Church leaders learn what resources exist. They can advise on how to move forward if a member needs professional help.
How to minister to those in crisis and how Family Services can support you in that effort.
Who is Invited?
Stake Leaders (Stake Presidencies – Stake Relief Society Presidencies – High Council members – Stake Self-Reliance Specialists)
Ward Leaders (Bishoprics - Elder's Quorum Presidencies - Relief Society Presidencies – Ward Self-Reliance Specialists)
Any other leaders that you feel should be invited.
I've attached an invite flyer that you are welcome to share with leaders of your Stake/Ward.
